Recruit for the Hood!

Greetings!  I'm posting this in the highest traffic area that loosely applies to the topic.  :)

The USS Hood needs crewmen!

We meet Tuesdays at 11 ET.  We're an original series ship with a fun long history and genuine comraderie.  We have a base of experienced players, but what we don't have are new ensigns to fill out the departments.

Please feel free to poke around our web page or talk with anyone on the crew.  We need you and will be happy to chat.  If you yourself can't join, please talk it up with your friends.

Thanks!

Greetings,

Indeed. The Hood is also the home of the now famous "Vulcan Flan". All those who stop by for a visit will get some as a sign of appreciation for your time.

Thanks for the reminder to put the flan on the web page!  Must update...  :)

The nacelle handles make it easier for the guys to maneuver the model for our blue screen special effects shots.

I have loved simming on the Hood...trouble is my job is getting more and more in the way with simming on this fine ship.

As in Ensign, I recommend this ship to new graduates...it's fun. You can be a Yellow, Blue or even a Redshirt! (given openings available)  I don't think one should be concerned about simming in the TOS era of  Star Trek. You still have your basics from the academies...Phasers, Transporters, Shuttles and those Warp Engines.

One fun thing about the Hood is the kitchen..and those food dispensers.   And of course....the Vulcan Flan! What's all this talk about Vulcan Flan? Come check it out!

Hmm, I wouldn't mind signing up for it, I graduated last week (and haven't heard back from the personnel guy yet ;)), but I'd like to see what positions are open.  You can PM me or e-mail me.  :D   But I'm not too familar with TOS.

Great work, guys!  We now have a full engineering department!  :)

What we need now are some scientists to keep the creeping black mold (and other anomalies) under control.  We could also use another doctor in sickbay.

Thanks again!
