Time Marches On, Or Does It.....

Time Marches On, Or Does It....

Tactical Officers Log: Eagle, James, T., Ens...Computer Begin Log: Beep...

Sam and I had spent so much of our precious time and even more precious energy. The hours spent in the holodeck going over and over possible scenarios for escape have surely cost us in our most valuable commodity energy.

One can push the limits on physical rest or lack of sleep, merely rest up and recover. That being said the ability to recover any form of energy on an already dwindling supply of energy barely being maintained by the miraculous engineering crew, in an empty black void is practically impossible.

The best odds for survival in the possible escape we had come up with is 60% success and 40% failure. The unfortunate latter half of the equation would probably end in one of two possible outcomes. Neither possibility was a pleasing outcome.

Sam and I have presented Commander Alces with the data, He then in turn ran it by the senior command staff. We did attempt to gather more data by firing a spread of dummy torpedos into the void in an attempt to monitor their range and bearing to compile some data. The returning data as well as the torpedos were a bit of surprise, either we are in some sort of curved space, the torpedos were turned back by an omnipotent being, or we are trapped in some sort of space akin to being held in the fist of an unseen dark hand.

I was going over the data with the Cmdr. as I overheard a comment by Sam mentioning a similar experience on the U.S.S. Voyager in time past. The solution in part required the assistance of a guide whom was either a resident,or at the very least familiar with the area of space.

The thought struck me at the mention of a guide my mind recalled a previous remark of Captain Dacotah about her "friend" and being a rather unique individual. It occurs to me this may well a possible alternative, He does afterall appear to be enabled to come and go at will through time and space.

I hope there can be a realistic way to get our collective tails out of this expanse, Given the amount of energy drain on the systems, Coupled with our inability to garner another source of energy from outside the Arcadia. The original offered alternative may well be the best alternative. Time waits for none, Just marches on. Computer End Log : Beep....
