The Manticore was attacked by an unknown enemy while we

were engaged in a training simulation. During a simulated

attack, the enemy attacked for real. This resulted in a hull

breach, damaged fighters and casualties. The attacker

disappeared when we shut down the drill, so we started the

drill again and they re-appeared. They are a crystalline

entity/ship with an energy weapon/tractor beam that is very

strong. They vanished when the drill ended, but our sensor

logs show us that they took some of our crew prisoner from

the first attack. Now we fight them for real, for the crew!
