Perhaps and end to the endless night...

Perhaps an end to the endless night..

Personal log: Eagle, James, T., Ens, Tactical officer:

Computer begin log : Beep..

It is down now to Sam and I as well as the Sci. Dept. to work a way out of this black and seemingly endless void. Sam the Acting CENG and I have just made our way to the Holo-Deck. W e can review and possibly run our joint simulations in the hologram imaging deck. It is with great hope and expectations this will work. The data from the archives from past encounters of a similar situation(s) lead to a way out.

The data gathered and run in the sims may find us a way out for We may very well have only one shot at this. The data does refer to a bit of danger involved in the various formulas used to generate the type of inverse energy burst generated by our warp sequencing and energy output to get the desired effect.

The particular state we have encountered is almost identical in many ways to the ones indicated in the archival data. It does as well differ in some ways as well. To hedge our theory , and make for the best chance I have coupled a theory using our quantum torpedos and shields to essentially cause a rebound affect and timed to the warp cold start and implosion .

The Chief engineer seems to agree on the theory, Now all we have to do is refine it in the sim. We will have to ensure perfect and precise timing though. A bit too much power at the wrong time might prove inadequate at best, And possibly a disaster at worst.

I trust Sam and his expertise ...we can now only strive for the very best solution to this mounting problem. Time can be an asset, or a very great liability. Time marches on and waits for no one. I can only pray now, I hope we are right. Computer End Log: Beep.
