Prisoners, they have my crew as prisoners!!

Look at me, pacing around here with a phaser in my hand. It's like I want to shoot something, right away, to get my people back! I guess I fall back on my Security roots when this sort of thing happens. Oh, how I want to be on any away team that gets our people back, yet I know I can't.

Okay, I'm getting ahead of myself, aren't I? I have given my teams 2 hours to come up with their best options for attack and retrieval.

- Engineering has to enhance the shields so we can hold off their attack longer.

- Medical has to figure out how our people are being kept alive and to really prepare for battle casualties.

- Security has to prepare a boarding party, if we can figure out how to board a giant crystal with no empty spaces.

- Science, hmm, science has the toughest job of all, they have to analyze their sensor readings so they can provide the data that everyone else needs. On top of that, they have their own task of figuring out just how this ... ship, I guess I need to call it that if it moves in space, fires weapons and can hold life inside it. Anyway, they have to find out how this ship moves in and out of our plane of existence, how to keep them here, how they move and fire and... they have to figure out the HOWs so that everyone else can focus on the WHEN, WHERE and WHY.

{{Hey folks, great opportunity for logs and plot development. Remember that you need to check with your whole department and have your dept heads check with Command, if you plan on making any statements that will affect the plot issues}}

I don't want to wait any longer than 2 hours because I'm afraid that our people, held captive, are on borrowed time.

Grrr, I need to shoot something!
