Login Problems into Chat

looks like i am unable to login into chat anymore. i am not aware of any changes on my side, which may have caused this... flushed all caches, too... help me if somebody can... thx

Could be a problem with java. Go to java.com - http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp - and download the latest platform.

If that doesn't work, try uninstalling every version of Java that you have and then go to the Java site and download only the most recent version. Sometimes older versions of Java interfere with newer ones.

I seem to be having this problem to, I have uninstalled Java and reinstalled it. I seem to be having the problem only loging on through AOL. I have also updated AOL just incase... I can get in through IE but I still can't get in through AOL :P

I have a similar problem with AOL. I think it's their browser. IE and Fox seem to work fine.

hello i am a newbie to this but i am completely unable to access chat(gives me invalid username error), or create a character(no link to do so)

i have tried using different browsers (internet explorer firefox and even netscape ugh!) but all produce the same results. there are no CLEAR (or otherwise) instructions on how to get in. is this the chat itself or something im missing? i have tried to contact the site admin but i get an error about how the SITE ADMIN disabled that feature. PLEASE HELP!

While you are logged into these forums, at the top of the screen click on "live chat" and it should allow you to enter the chatroom. Your message board login also works as your chat login. :D

 

If you have any other problems, reply and we'll troubleshoot from there.

 

Make sure you are putting in your full login name and not your nickname. (If applicable.)

Also make sure to enable cookies for this site in your browser and firewall. That sometimes will cause the error.
