A Beacon Of Light...A Sea Of Night..

Tactical Officers Log: Eagle, James, T. Ens.

Computer begin recording: Bleep...

 

Commander Alces, Thoros, and I have just returned to the bridge from the realm of darkness surrounding the Arcadia. I have logged back onto the tactical station in an attempt to retrieve the possible data that may afford us an exit.

 

The whole ship is alive with the various crews working together to get us back to full operational status. While the Commander and I were out in that inky black environment we discovered a few natural laws do exist here. The question that prevails is whom or what is the originator of this null void.

 

The data from the archives pointed initially to a report from the Captain of the Enterprise and a being known only as Naglium whom had created a similar void in space and had carried out what appeared to be some kind of observation on the ship and crew. The observation turned out to be a deadly experience for some of the crew.

 

The Commander and I had discussed this to some extent. I held that we were possibly in the same or similar situation here, However the Commander pointed out some flaws in the said theory. I agree...We had not been contacted by an omnipotent being,at least not yet.

 

We have been contacted however by the Captains "Friend", and apparently he has the ability to come and go at will. That in itself I find particularly interesting, This leads me to the opinion the Commander and I may both be right. I have pulled additional data up from the archives. The Commander may find this of interest at least, and possibly a bit of help in our endeavor to be free from this place.

 

The data indicates an engineering feat coupled with a burst of energy that may open us a door in which to leave this null void. The problem noted in the data also points out the possibility of being turned into a flaming ball of destruction as well. One thing is certain we cannot remain here indefinitely.

 

The data is a small beacon of hope, and light in this dark realm..or is it merely a prelude to usher in our demise. Computer End Log: Beep....
