"Gym Practice"

A log by the individual obsessed with Bronze Dragons =P

Lieutenant JG Nimetti stood in the gym waiting for his sparring partner. He had been relieved by Lieutenant JG Mical at Tactical after he showed her what was going on with the TSR program, which was now working efficiently again after a lot of work on it. She had understood how to work on it and was quite efficient at updating the information needed to keep it working right.

Bridgett Harlone, or Crewman Harlone as most of the crew knew her by, entered the gym and walked over to sparring mate Callack was standing on. "Sorry I'm late"

"Eh, It's cool. You know I'm not going easy on you this time. If you want to spar, then I'm going to give it all I got. Besides, I want to see what you've got." Callack was smiling, but he wasn't going to judge her until the fight started.

"Good, cuz I wouldn't want you to go easy on me. I can handle you." She gave him a cocky grin.

"Alright then, lets get this show started." Both of the combatants faced each other and bowed.

"Begin" chimed the computer to signal the start of the match.

Callack started the fight by giving a side kick, which was expertly blocked by Bridgett. Ok, she's better than I thought, thought Callack.

After a while of trading blows, the combatants backed off. Then Bridgett tried to take advantage of the oppertunity. She came at Callack with a couple of quick punches. Just what I thought she would do. Callack blocked the first two punches. On the third punch, he grabbed her arm, twisted it, brought it behind her back. Then he kicked her legs, dropping her to her knees. After she fell to her knees, still locked with her arms behind her back, the young man simultaneously put Bridgett in a relaxed chock hold. "You call it?"

Struggeling, the young crewman thought of a way out of the hold. She could feel her partner's knee lightly pressing on the middle of her back. Finding no way out of this hold, she gave in. "Ok, you win. Can I breathe now?"

"Oops, sorry." Callack released the pressure on her neck. Then he released her from the hold completely. "I admit, I'd hate to be the individual that gets on your bad side."

The two of them were beaten up pretty badly. "Lets go to medical and get fixed up. Then we'll get dinner." Callack's stomach was starting to growl. They both headed out of the gym and to sick bay. Consequently, that's where Kansas was. Oh great, how am I going to explain this one.

Look on the bright side - neither of you took a Batleth straight to the gut like "M&M" Marshall. ;-)
