Personal History:

Gregory has always looked to the stars. Believing the answers of life are out there somewhere he always wanted to explore them. Accepted in Starfleet Academy at 16 he was put into the ever needing Pilot program. McNear was facinated at the oppurtunity to pilot a star craft. His test scores at the Academy where some of the best Starfleet had seen. He applied for and got a posistion in the MACO training unit at the Academy and trained to insert MACO teams via shuttle. He was hand picked by Capt. Giovanni to serve as the Challenger's Navigator and MACO Shuttle Pilot because the Capt. needed someone who would take risks and another trained MACO never hurt.

Gregory is a very egotistic male. But once the Capt gives an order it is followed to the letter with no waiver. He knows how good he is and will be the first one to tell you about it. But once the alarms go off and its down to business you won't find a more serious person. Delibrate when it comes to his flying and MACO drills and exacution.
