Beneath The Hoods...

 

Tactical Officers Log: Ens., Eagle, James, T.

 

Watching a number of tactical readouts from monitoring the recently decloaked Romulan war birds. To the smaller vessel that had previously been attempting to elude us.

 

Listening and viewing the security link to the room where both of our commanding officers have agreed to meet the Romulan representatives beamed over. I know and have verified our present location as being on our side of the neutral zone.

 

I do not like this situation, My gut instinct is screaming to first strike the two war birds and secure our shields, Then in a better tactical situation be enabled to convince our adversaries of their own delicate position they would find themselves in.

 

However training and just common sense tells me to watch ,listen, and observe. They are hiding something...That much is so obvious a blind man could see it. That being said, The majority of the bridge crew were a bit taken back at the appearance of the three hooded individuals that accompanied their representative.

 

The three in fact appear to be the presumed Ambassador, his aide, and pilot, All with subtle differences all in common . Their ears are pointed, This raises a multitude of questions and possibilities.

 

One thought may be they are Romulan plants returning from an imbedded mission to gather Intel for the Star Empire, And if so then they were impersonating a UFP representative and company. Should that be the case they should be taken into custody and charged with espionage. The one fault with that line of thinking is why would the Romulans present them up to us.

 

The only answer to that question that even remotely makes any logic, or reason the individuals are a part of an unauthorized or faction working outside of the Romulan governing body and the Empire is not willing their actions to spark an incident that might end up in intergalactic war.

 

At any case in point there still remains the question, Where are the original representatives we were supposed to meet and aid, And all this subterfuge and damage and loss to us for what reason. :)
