Two things to remember: 1) Any Academy hosted by STSF N'Dak is a guaranteed suicide mission [And that's a direct quote from his signature]. 2) Never compare the GMs to Captains Bligh or Queeg if you want to get graduate sometime before the turn of the century.

Yes, it is rather ironic that STSF ceases to exist just at the moment prospective cadets would have more free time to join up i.e. during the holidays.

 

However, we did hold an Academy Simulation on Sunday night, so don't lose heart when Atragon splashes those pharaonic decrees over the front page. ;)

 

It's nice that the site "shuts down" for holidays and such, with whether or not a sim runs left up to host discretion. I myself joined during the '04 Thanksgiving holidayand just waited until after the holidays and then jumped into the acads when they opened again.
