Actually, I have ordered mine a nice heart-shaped, blue trimmed white cake, I'll be picking it up Saturday.  The amazing thing?  Six dollars, I must be the man. lol l8r.

In my family we have to celebrate Mother's Day, Father's Day, "Life Partner's Day", and "Mailman's Day".  No wonder I'm screwed up!    :)

I've already gotten the crepe paper flowers, the foam core butterflies, and a card that says I'm the most beautiful Mom in the world.  What more is there??

Dac

oh, you meant for MY mom ... flowers (god bless 1-800-Flowers) Lots and lots of flowers.

I got my mom a card, and hopefully the mailman will get it there in time. Don't live anywhere near her unfortunately so a card and a call is all I can do :/

Dude, that call to scotland is going to cost you more than a few dozen roses, a box of candy, a card, and a hug.   :)

LOL....  My company has just set me up with an internet-based Cisco web phone.  I can call anywhere worldwide from home...  absolutely free.  ::):

It's nice being the Customer Support Manager....  I can do 90 percent of my work from home while sitting in my bath robe now.  hehe  --  Phone calls can be directed to my phone, customer support e-mail is handled online, paperwork can be electronically submitted, meetings can be done though video conferencing, etc.

What a world we live in.  lol

So who is going to win this fight, the monkey or the dolphin?    :)

Good question. A dolphin can jump through hoops, but a monkey can throw its own poop. Hmmm...it's a tough call.

Card & candy for mine, she knows with college ending this week that I've most likely forgotten.

Of course the best Mother's Day card I ever gave was to the president of my fraternity (a guy I didn't like).  I forget the specific language but it read something like "To a real mother"  or "You're such a mother" or "Enjoy this day, Mother" or something like that.    :)
