"General Science"

"General Science"

A log by Lieutenant Junior Grade Aidan Driscol

Aidan was sitting in a science lab all by himself, he needed to think. Briefly he had considered to go somewhere else but he had quickly dismissed the thought because he knew a professional atmosphere would help him concentrate on the job rather than his mind going astray thinking about the whole Lexia situation.

He didn't have the luxury to think about such things, they had to find a way to get the General off that ship and he wanted to contribute. He poured over the data from the bridge and pondered several scenarios all of which ended with them getting stuck or worse. Shadow might be their key advantage in all of this though, provided he'd agree to do something that was potentially dangerous. But Aidan still didn't have a clue what to do exactly.

One thing seemed quite certain, this wouldn't be as easy as getting the spy. He continued to go through the databanks to see if someone had attempted something like this before and how they had done it but so far he wasn't having much luck. The nebula didn't facilitate things, on the other hand Aidan thought it could also work in their favour.

He shook his head and got up, he would have to bounce a few things off of Condacin and Shadow, some things he had found in the databanks had to be discussed regarding their practicability, a marine and an engineer should possibly be present, too. But that wasn't for him to decide, so he took a couple of PADDs and made his way to the bridge. In the turbolift he considered the Agincourt's as well as his personal situation. Why couldn't things ever be easy?
