Sweating Emotions

As a Beads of sweat drip down O'brien's back, so do his feelings....

Resentment...

Fear...

Regret...

Anger...

Courage...

and above all... Sadness.....

After the "kind" cheif dropped him ever so pleasantly off in MENG, the emotions just started to culminate....

The engineering cheif was nice enough to assign him a jeffreys tube FAR away from the NNC to clean, and for that, and only that, Miles was greatfull. His gratefullness declined into a familiar feeling of innocence! He thought he was playing adequintly to this so called "game" that he failed at. When He brought up that "rules" stated nothing about shooting more than once, He was sure that his loving feline boss thought that he had failed all of his tactical retreat courses at the academy. Soon enough his innocence transformed into something far greater; Regret. Although he felt proud of his feat, He deeply regretted it. Miles knew he might have went to far on that second shot... He regretted hurting those officers... But then, Anger flooded over it all with another drip down his back! He was threatened! shouldn't that be dealt with as well! Those marines came after him because of a "friendly" game! And my "comrades" wow! they were the ones who put him too this! He thought he would gain respect if he did something right and showed them how bold he really was! Miles sighed.

Finally, all of these emotions folded into one.

Sadness.

Miles did not want to be in a jeffreys tube. He didn't sign up for engineering duty! He didn't want to hide from the world that he was sad and not a calcified security officer! Soon enough Miles dropped his brush. His salty Perspiration stopped and turned into something that showed his overwhelming emotion...

Tears...

Miles cried for a whole minuite and let himself now how he felt, behind all of that expected security "toughness"

the cadet finally picked up his brush, and started cleaning those tubes with something better than elbow grease, sweat, and tears. He cleaned them with

Emotion.
