I have been experiencing a slight problem with the"text" coloring in the chat rooms,that began about midway into an academy sim,...I performed the usual checks,deleting,reloading...etc.,etc.,just curious if it has to do with the STSF site being updated to accomidate the necessary changes...I know since the new update there have been some problems with various members on their OS as it pertains to the interaction in the rooms...just curious,..Thank You.. :)

I was on my sister's iMac a few weeks ago, and had the chat room show up with all black text. She runs MacOS X.3.9 and Apple's Safari browser. I haven't had that problem at home running X.4.10 with Safari. Just an older version of Java???

exactly my point,the older version...no problem,the newer version,problem,ergo the query about the site not being updated yet .. :)

Except I'm seeing the opposite. My sister's older software gives a black and white chat, while my newer verstion (Tiger 4.10) works fine.

I've got the same problem as eagle. I have a PC and I use Firefox to get into the rooms. Since my last update of Java I cannot see the text colours either.

Information from Webbie this weekend. With the new version of Java turned out, the site has to be updated. The patch has to come from the developers of the chat interface/ Webbie says that when it comes in he will load it and everything should work fine again.
