How do you make your own ship

I made mine with Popsicle sticks and Elmer's glue. I'm happy with it, but boy is my tongue cold!

Hehehe. Should have bought those boxes of craft sticks.

To try and answer a little more properly, the ships are run by official STSF GM's. New ships aren't made unless a need for a new one arrises and there are GM's willing to operate it.

Yep. STSF has a definite style, and a definite idea on what works and doesn't work. They invite members to become hosts, generally after a player has played here for quite some time, has worked up in rank as a player, and generally has proven to be a decent department head. There is quite a bit of training involved as they teach the trainee host what they believe works.

Other sim groups might be less formal, might allow players to host sooner, might give hosts more freedom, but STSF has by far the healthiest academy system I've encountered, and more ships with larger crews than one generally finds. They might not be for everybody, but they do very well.

But if you want to host here, you'll have to be more than a bit patient.
