Help!

Hello? Is anyone here? How do I start this stupid sim? I just want to join the academy and I can't figure out how to do it. Someone else on this board brought up how the instructions aren't very clear, and no one seems to have addressed that. This is frustrating! Can someone help me please!

Welcome.   :(   All you have to do to start in the Star Trek Simulation Forum is attend one of the Academy sims.   There's a link to the schedule on the left-hand side of the page.

 

 

Pick the Academy Sim time that's best for you, and awaaay you go!

Just show up a few minute before the hour, and find out who's assigning the posts that night.  Usually that's the First Officer.  Request a post of him/her.   Sim. :-)   That's all, really.  

 

You might want to take a few minutes to read through the "How to Sim" file, and perhaps some of the ship message boards, just to get a feel for how things work.

On the left, go to Chat Rooms.

 

Either link (Community or Chat Lobby) will eventually get you where you want to go, but let's go the quick way --

 

Chat Rooms> Chat Lobby> Holodeck

 

You'll need to create a startrek.com account if you haven't already. :-)
