It already can be done. If you want to pay several thousand dollars for the VR program, go ahead.

I don't think there are limitations to that one. The reason you can't start a second one right away is that if you start out with the advanced sim you have no clue how much work you'll have to put into it (logs, research for certain plots etc.).

I do not believe there is a limitation, but you have to wait a month (or 3?) after joining your first before you can join anymore.
