Killjoys

52 posts in this topic

As many will know, I mostly play the Joy class Mudd androids. In my 'official' history, there are only 12 Joys, the true player characters, numbered 1 through 12, including the seldom seen 'evil twin' Joy 4. Back in June of 06, I decided to track unofficial Joys who serve in the STSF academy system. I've been tracking name of ship, the hosts involved, and how each one died.

I was surprised, reviewing the data recently, to find only two Joys (14 and 15) died to Pandarians, and only one (Joy 29) to the Vorpal Easter Bunny.

Anyway, I'll occasionally inform hosts of their current status on the list of Killjoys. All hosts present in at a run get full credit for a kill. Here is the latest score sheet, sorted first by kills, second alphabetically...

Jami 5

Muon 5

NDak 4

Seiban 3

Amnor 2

BluRox 2

FredM 2

KBear 2

Laura 2

Manning 2

Atragon 1

Dacotah 1

Hawser 1

LoAmi 1

Nickles 1

I was more than a little surprised to find Jami at the top of the list. She mostly plays XO. Her five kills are shared with Seiben (3) and Muon (2).

Anyway, I figured any new cadets ought to be warned. Fear not NDak so much. He hasn't been running academies so much of late. Others have climbed to the top of the List Dubious. :D

Perhaps your evil twin, A9?

Sounds like we're going to have a contest to see who can become the Ace of Aces, with icing Joy.

Who? Me? Nervous? Just because I popped into Holodeck tonight at 10 PM, and saw STSF NDak waiting for me? :D

So, what how many are we going for, Joy? 26, like Eddie Rickenbacker, 40 like Majors Richard I. Bong and Thomas McGuire (officially 38), Erich Hartmann and Adolph Galland (352 and 104 respectively), or Saburo Sakai's 60 to 80? :P

Just to let folks know, GromVic got a kill last night. Not a Joy, though...

NDak was lurking in the room, and had volunteered to role play a Romulan SGV. Alas, NDak made the decision to leave the chat room before his SGV came into play, so GromVic's SGV killed the NDak SGV. Knife to the throat. Alas, far too quick. Not painful enough...

See? If you're the one with action authority, NDak is no problem... :P

Wait...is this STSF only, cause I know I've killed you more than this in SFOL....lol. And..of course, there are a few on the list......that have an adjusted score due to being of Pandarin origin, however, that's a secret.....

Yep. STSF only, and I only started keeping track in June of 2006, so there are missing STSF kills as well.

And I suspect NDak is getting shortchanged, here. Not too long after I started keeping track, he became less active in the Academies.

Technically, I wouldn't count that as a "kill", since the unit is still intact and functioning. Maybe half of one, since the rest of the ship was destroyed, and the unit is lost in space.

That was the entire idea. Everyone dies EXCEPT Joy, mwah-hahahahah!

I should have you meet my wives, A9. They wouldn't appreciate that idea.

Joy 36 Aug 3, 2007. Amnor, Jami, & Hawser, with Amnor doing the actions. USS Billy Mitchel as a Galaxy Class. Distress call from the badlands. Ambush by 4 Galor cruisers. Death by beaming bombs into a battered and disabled Billy.

This puts Amnor and Seiban into a tie for 3rd at 3 kills each, behind Muon with 5 and NDak with 4.

Immediately following the academy run, a new cardassian scientists moved into Amnor's character's department, prompting anger. Coincedence? :)

I'm pulling Jami from my list, as she has generally been a sweet innocent recording host, not a heavy user of the action gun.

Joy 37. Aug 4, 2007. Hawser and Precip. USS Neversail. Mission to blow up an entire asteroid belt took 3 trips and lots of photon torpedoes. Scans show nothing unusual about asteroids. On the way home, a few crew go bonkers and eventually spontaneously combust. Big ship from not previously known civilization appears from nowhere and blows all away.

Subtle.

Joy 37 fails to complete her first mission. Hawser moves into a 3 way tie for 3rd with 3 kills.
