Admiral Garnoopy

Admiral Garnoopy reporting for duty

36 posts in this topic

Good evening everyone, my name is Admiral Garnoopy. I have been using the Star Trek chat rooms for years, and just two nights ago I ran into a group of people simming in the holodeck which happened to go by your name!

I've done many sims before, but by following your rules I believe I must report myself to Starfleet acadamy so here I am. I'm assuming of cource I am in the right place. I will be in the holodeck at 9:00 PM EST for the Starfleet Acadamy sim, that is, if I've read your scheduel right.

It seems as though this web page is just getting started, and I can tell you that I woud love to be apart of it.

For your information though, it is very confusing in your instructions as to how to join this game. You tell people how to play, what you can and can't do, but you never say "Click here and post a message to join". I can tell you this was confusing for me, though as you can tell from this message, I have made it here alive.

I am here, I want to play, and I am willing to work from being a Cadet to being, at least in your eyes, the Admiral I am. Thank you and I hope to see you tonight.

Admiral Garnoopy

Wow, my records are incorrect... according to that posting I did a sim on 50209.15, I didn't think I joined untill 50209.20! Thanks Vanroy...

That means that in only 13 days it'll be my 1 year anniversary on STSF!

Well, my graduation date was Sept 25.  If you count my cadet time I think I already passed my one-year mark, but I can't remember that far back.

My appologies for actually making this thread useful.  It won't happen again.

Actually, I've always considered it a promotion.

I went from the made up rank of Admiral to the earned rank of Ensign. After a year now I've earned the rank of Lieutenant.

It's true...

I loged onto AIM that day to get an instant IM from a GM wanting to know what the heck was going on. I was flattered of course that they would believe that I could become head of STSF as a Lieutenant. ::grin::

If I remember right, one of your characters was a Lt, one was LtJG, and one was Ens.  That's a LtJG on average.
