Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th everyone! While you are blasting your fireworks and having outdoor bbqs, remember that today we celebrate Independence Day, a movie that reminds us to be thankful that we aren't being invaded by locust aliens from distant galaxies.

Happy Independence Day! The day where I can celebrate my freedom to set off firecrackers...And nothing else. But I did have bratwurst and watched some fireworks. I don't think it gets any more 4th of July than that.

As for the movie Independence Day, I was thrilled to see that Fox finally wasn't airing it on the 4th. For once.

But it's all that Will Smith stands for!

Some people even call it Will Smith Day.

I call it Day when Will smith blows up a bunch of aliens who suck.....blood.

I bet that people will now call it transformers day, thanks to that idiot, Steven Spielburg, who just has to make a bunch of stupid robots appear on our day of liberty!

Our day of........

WILL SMITH!

I drove a British sports car to a July 4th party. Does that make me unpatriotic?

Nah, that means you have good taste. What kind of a car was it out of curiosity? :)

Austin Healey. Forgot the year, but it's a 3000 mark III.

Nah. Don't feel bad, Kallah. Out of the seven cars I've owned since I was 18, all but one have been Swedish (Volvos to be precise). And I'm a servicemember too! My goal is to have a car either reach half a million miles before it falls apart, or I die before it does. And if my ex hadn't trashed my 98 Chevy Tahoe, I'd probably be reaching for that goal. It had close to 160k miles on it when it got wrecked.

Yep. As much as I loved that truck, I'm kind of glad she did. Gas prices are outrageous.

I have to agree with that. I kind of predicted it would get to 3 dollars in New Jersey back when prices started upping and upping.

So what car do you have now, another Volvo?
