Travis Kroells

How to say my name

alright thats it.  Im here to settle the dust, grab the dictionary and what not.  As for my name

Travis (err...yea i would think that only illiterate people cant say Travis)

Jon  (seriously your starting to scare me)

Kroells...well this is where it hits a snag.  Most people pronounce it Crow-ells, which in a way is a good way to check for telimarketers.  Any ways it's prounounced more like

Kraaa-lls.  Long and stressed A.  The E is completly sighlent and the ll's and the S sort of make a Z sound.  Well this should hopfully help some people...if not i think at least garnoopy will understand since i know he went/going to college and hence forth makes him at least as smart as me! biggrinyoyoA.gif

Not necessarily.  I've known some people who went to college, even graduated, and are still dumb as doorknobs!  (The scariest thing is the dumbest doorknobs seem to end up as nursing and education majors    :o )

Schools do a pretty good job of teaching "book" smarts.  Unfortunately many times there is the "real life" smarts that is left out of the classroom.

While teachers worry about standardized tests that want to know if they can spit back the chemical compound of hydrochloric acid...  they don't have time to teach the kids what they really need when they get out of school.

I have got to stop listening to MP3s while I check the message boards.  I was reading this thread as the same time as Destiny's Child was singing "Say My Name".  :o

lol.

And Travis, even though we said we couldn't pronounce you name, did we really mean we wanted to know how?  ::o:

Ok enough with the joking, I think I can pronounce your name now. If you ever hear me pronounce it wrong just yell.  :)
