The floor vibrated, the walls made odd sounds, and the stars zipped by at a rate, which would seem impossible. Garnoopy’s massive frame stood at the tactical station at the back of the bridge, everyone seemed tense, everyone felt the ship being pulled apart at the seems, but they held on all the same.

 

He tapped his panels, transferring shields, weapons, sensor systems, everything to the engines. The ship was being put to the maximum stress test, and whether she held up to the high standard Starfleet engineers put to Ambassador class starships would be seen.

 

A growl came from his lips. The Cairo had just arrived in orbit of it’s destination, except the Cairo was didn’t have any crew on her to move, and wouldn’t be moving for a long time.

 

Garnoopy readied his panels, battle might be at hand, and he would not be caught defenseless. He would be ready for the fight, which might lie ahead, in which they would be triumphant.

 

The ship dropped out of warp, instantly, Garnoopy tapped his panels, and rerouted power to shields, weapons, sensors, and brought tactical to full power. Shields were at 80% due to the stress that had been put on the ship, but that would be enough, enough to triumph over whatever lay ahead.
