"Mistaken Identity"

Thanks to Riko for giving me permission to kill his character. This log is set a few weeks ago, before Tro'NoQ and Thing end up 'saving the day'.

 

"Wrinkle-nose!"

 

The voice of the H'Tiss echoed across the corridor outside of the Brig, and he delivered a solid kick to the Qob officer he'd dragged away from the cells. Producing a club from seemingly nowhere, he smacked Sendai across the back of the skull with a resounding 'thunk'.

 

The Bajoran looked up at him as the blood trickled from the wound. "You've got... got the wrong one."

 

"What do you mean?" A boot collided with the Bajoran's stomach, causing him to grunt.

 

"The one you're looking for... the one that was mouthing off earlier... that wasn't me!"

 

The H'Tiss looked confused for a moment before hauling him onto his feet... past his feet until only his dangling toes touched the floor. "You lie, wrinkle-nose!"

 

"That was... the doctor... the Klingon qel! Not me!"

 

"You lie!!!!" He hurled the Bajoran into the bulkhead, and everything went black for Riko.

 

And in the moments before painful, concussioned death took him, a single color passed through his brain, and he could almost taste a neutron cookie.
