"The Killing Qel"

His Meyvn was gone.

Entirely, utterly...

Except for her spirit, which remained.

But was it really her ghost, her spectre? Or had stress, fatigue, and injuries affected his mind?

This troubled Tro'NoQ. His heart -- his very Klingon soul -- wanted to believe it was really her, that her desire for a new body was not just the product of a diseased mind that wanted her back so desperately...

... but could he really become Qel Frankenstein? Was it fair to do to Random, when the possibility existed that a new personality wouldn't even be there to take over her corpse?

Tro'NoQ thought about it long and hard, barely conscious.

He could kill a H'Tiss in cold blood, but not a fellow crewmember.

... how was he going to tell Meyvn that she had to stay... dead?
