Archeologists and Federation science personnel have been working for several years on Cretus VII, a class M planet, after discovering ancient advanced technology.

Finally near a breakthrough in their research, the team has requested Starfleet protection due to the possible magnitude of the discovery.

The USS Armoire (Akira class), dispatched in response to the team's request, has sent an away team to the planet.

The Federation science team is leading them on a very interesting journey towards their discovery.
