"Psionic Resonators: Where Thoughts Actually Do Create Destruction"

Computer, Begin Recording. ::Record Initiated::

Just as the ship began its departure procedures, I put the finishing touches on the psionic resonator.

I picked it up, looking at the smooth headband-shaped device. It was surprisingly light, thanks to some Ultra-nanotechnology.

Its silvery color could've made it even look fashionable, if anyone cared to have the hard silver band around their head.

I found it amazing that its predecessor was a bulky medical device, which now sat on the table.

After some long, sleepless nights researching telepathy, I managed to put together a system that would allow the resonator to be controlled telepathically. I wasn't sure if the mechanism even worked though, or if anything at all in the device worked. Though it theoretically worked by augmenting the outgoing delta waves, or "psychic waves," to allow for longer distances, I wasn't exactly sure if the device was capable of truly affecting the waves. There was also the chance that my research was misguided, and that augmentation of the waves would affect telepathy.

Strangely enough, the most destructive part of the device might actually be the most successful as well. Though I wasn't sure of *how* telepathy and delta waves worked together, I definitely knew that they *did* work together, and appeared together. The destructive part of the device would use the delta-waves as an energy source, and would convert the wave into a focused radioactive beam, that would quickly burn anything biological into dust. I've left this deactivated until I could completely make sure it wouldn't kill the user in the process...

End Recording.
