We seem to find ourselves in a precarious position at Freedom Station, caught between the station and three Mji battle-ready starships.  The Poy Ambassador is aboard, and the Mji, who have changed their name from the Mji Alliance to the Mji Empire, are demanding immediate transport of the medicine and the Poy Ambassador.  The Mji are agitated, but the Poy Ambassador seems relaxed, almost too much so.  Either he is unaware of the danger or he knows something we do not.  Of course, he may be doing what humans call "bluffing," but I find it hard to believe one would bluff in this situation.

 

Ensign Kroells, our new science officer, continues to perform well.  However, I must remind myself that humans require much more rest than we.  Mr. Kroells stayed at his post nearly 36 standard hours, well beyond ordinary human endurance.  I dismissed him to his quarters for rest and have advised Chief Science Officer Kirouff that Ensign Kroells has performed beyond his call of duty.
