"Fantasy Island"

TroNoQ was seriously considering just forgetting attempts to create an antidote for the plague, keeping Meyvn, and recommending that Qob just leave without so much as a 'goodbye'. That was his solution to annoying little dying races that liked to hurl plasma charges at their rescuers.

How could someone so lovely as his little Meyvn be from such an unattractive, barbaric race as this? A government official gone mad; their ship under attack -- it seemed unthinkable? How?

Of course, in his fantasy world, once they had said goodbye to them of the plague, he'd go right back to work to save his beautiful little darling from a tragic fate, for which she would be unendingly grateful. He could retire early from Qob, find some pleasant little Risa-like vacation world out here, and she'd sit there all day dropping gagh in his mouth, with an adoring look in her eye, and the rest of the males would be jealous. That'd show them.

But only in his fantasy world, and the Federation-ers would likely still retain their damned sense of helpfulness, and insist that they still remain to save the species in spite of their aggressions.

If only he could just relocate to a different reality... things might be better. Much better. He might even be a ladies' man.
