The Dominion attack cruiser two Vorta stood aboard the command nexus impatiently wearing the eyepieces that gave them sight beyond the hull of the ship.

The two meet eyes long enough to show their mutual dislike for the other. The stardown was broken by the voice of the Jem’Hadar first.

“They’re gone.” Taenix’s voice remained neutral though it was clear she was not expecting what had come to pass.

 

“But how could the Scorpiads have found this location?”

 

“There’s no sign that it was the Scorpiads who did this…”
