An Illicit Transaction

This actually dates back to two weeks ago:

She walked away smiling, once the strangers could no longer see her. Her mission had been a complete success, and she looked forward to spending the credits that it would gain her. It had been a long time since she had been able to buy a good drink. Rounding the corner, she also tripped over her contact.

"It's done. That powder flew everywhere, just like you wanted. Now.. the rest of my money?"

The contact smiled-- a greasy, slimy smile. One hand extended with the untracable small credit chits on it. As she reached out to take them, the other hand snapped forward. The pain barely even registered as she looked up at her contact in shock, then looking down at the sharp metal object protruding from her ribcage. The credit chits slipped from her fingers as her knees buckled, and the light slipped from her eyes. 'So much for the market being safe. I so wanted that drink', was her last thought.

The contact quickly walked away, and sent a message to the tracer that the package had been delivered.
