Since these are my "Quarters" I thought I'd try and decorate it a bit....

 

If attachment fails to load it is a screen shot of our 'Friends' tab with the sad message "There are no Friends to display."

Wait, thats what that little rating thingey does, linked to Friend additions? And I'm gathering just because someone adds you, doesn't necessarily mean they are automatically are added to your own friend listing.

Ditto on the learning this board thing, but as a programmer I am a compulsive button pusher what does this do person.

 

I thought the same as you actually, that if you added me as a Friend it would show on my Friends list, when in fact that only shows the ones I added. Go fig?

 

As for the little stars thing, I bumped into that by accident. I noticed someones stars werent greyed out like mine were so I click on it and lo and behold jumping jehosephats it put a star there.

 

Ultra cool if I do say so myself.

Not officially, no. If you want to add "friends" to your Boards and Chat names, that is fine, but number of friends or Board Rank or number of messages posted, etc., etc. don't really mean anything. You figure out who is helpful and nice pretty fast around here, stars or not.

I just think it's a fun way to meet other people on here. :0) & it's definitely been fun!
