Nose hairs are proof against Intelligent Design. Even a mediocre designer could have found a way to avoid these things.

Likewise, I've always thought the way the Borg functioned was evidence that they were less superior than they let on. For all the species they assimilated, they never decided that agility or speed would be useful, nor did they figure out how to get those easily-disabling-if-ripped-out-of-the-head tubes to be internal versus external.

I'm pretty sure a bunch of Nausicaans could take out a Borg cube.

That's so they would always have a spare straw for assimilating your neighbor's beer at the local pub.

When I lived in California, I was an Ohio State fan. When I moved to Ohio, I abandoned my college football fanhood. Its just -waaaaaaaaay- too overboard here, to the point where its obsessive. And I just refuse to be a part of it.

The second half of Caprica is make it or break it for the series. I like the series but they desperately need Galactica fans to latch on this series.

I hate to see another science fiction series die to do lack of ratings.

I agree with not wanted to see a sci fi show bite the dust due to lack of interest, but Caprica is a quirky series all the same. I don't mind quirky, but there's quirky and then there's quirky/quirky; Caprica falls into the latter and I really haven't been able to get into the series overall.

Galactica fans may not want to latch on? There's a bit of an interest gap between an overall Navy oriented re-imagined BSG and the modern day setting (closer to our current time frame at least) of Caprica.

Random thoughts: Two hour specials or a miniseries exploring the Cylon War with a retread of completely new characters and without any of the principle characters (Adama, Cain, Tigh, etc) known to be alive during the conflict might have been an option. The setting of the special could have also been on Caprica, a Starbase/Outpost, or on a Battlestar.

My favorite color is teal..just a different take on blue..although Aquamarine and Turquoise are cool too. Not certain if Blue-Grey is an offical color.

I drove a brand new Alfa-Romeo last night. I was awesome. But then my alarm went off and I had to get ready for work.

I am sad and relieved ... sad because my son was stung by a hornet, but relieved that he isn't intensely alergic.

That's a good thing.

I never thought I'd be so captivated by a bunch of guys coming out of a hole in the ground, but it was truly amazing to watch.

My wife, on the other hand, darn near had claustrophobia induced panic attacks every time they showed the entry shaft.

It ain't Schlitz and it ain't Shaffer. But then, most AB products fail as beer, falling into the category beer flavored water. Heck, Beck's NA has more taste.

I had me some Warsteiner at Oktoberfest down in Cinci this year. I might be hooked.

I still want to know what Egyptian beer tastes like - it was flavored using cinnamon instead of hops.
