That's why I dread moving away from Cablevision when/if I get my FT slot in AC. Once all the little quirks were worked out and modems replaced, I very rarely have a problem. Other than a router deciding to run down the curtain.

Zombieland Survival Rule #1: CARDIO!

Judging from my own experiences in zombieland I recommend brussel sprouts, but it has a slight dependancy wheither or not you're the zombie or they are.

Warmer temps in my area. Have these larger Lady Bug type things all in the front of the office building, probably attracted to the landscaped bushes and trees. Must be swarming due to the temps, they are all lazy with the flight patterns and doing that 'bob and weave" drunk thing.

One of the dang things went all rocket power, zoomed right at me, and landed on my neck.

Vampiric Lady Bugs. Who knew. And yes, I did manage to dislodge it without breaking stride and screaming like, well, a girl.

I vant to buzz your neck....

There is a huge wasp in between the curtain of my dorm bedroom and my window. I have no idea how it got there, since none of the windows in the apt have been open in weeks. I'm afraid to do anything about it, since it seems to be stuck there, and if it got loose and went elsewhere in my bedroom I would get even less sleep than I already do.

Has a 2nd interview ... and a son who's been hit by the HINI.

He should be fine soon: he's already eating again.

I really do hope this was the HINI, since that would mean he's beaten back this year's Big Bad Wolf rather handily. Now if he'd just take it easy without me having to bunge-cord him down to the futon, I'd be able to read a day without fever off of him and then I'd be able to send him back to school.

Duct tape works much better. Especially if it's of the 100mph milspec kind. Although the 600mph aerospace grade is even better, but harder to come by

Which got a nod in the TOS book, Doctor's Orders.

So Leila, had Birnam Wood come to Dunsinane yet?

So Leila, had Birnam Wood come to Dunsinane yet?

"Be lion-mettled, proud, and take no care who chafes, who frets, or where conspirers are! Macbeth shall never vanquished be until great Birnam Wood unto high Dunsinane Hill shall come against him!"

Such a great play...I got to be the porter and one of the spirits (and write the soundtrack) for a production we did of that my senior year in high school, documented (perhaps unfortunately) on YouTube.

Hope you liked it, Leila!

Diane Duane puts out a kick arse Bones McCoy novel with Doctors Orders: the good doctor gets some serious command officer time in this book! w00t!
