McDonalds, for their Sweet Tea offering, has a commercial airing on the radio to promote it. I'm assuming the content is the same in all regional markets. It involves one dude talking to another guy, and the one dude keeps "ahhhhing" on certain word endings because he's so refreshed from the Tea.

Which is why I try to stay away from the radio/tv. iPod and CDs in my car, laptop and iTunes at work. But as for annoying ads? The local ads for Frank's Jewelers, located in the Shore Mall in Egg Harbor Twp, NJ are really annoying. :wacko:

Just experienced a "FAIL" moment with one of my cats. Mouse, loose in the house, and I wind up catching the bugger and tossing it outside.

 

Of course, there was the epic "WIN" moment this morning when the other one puffed up and chased a heron away from the koi pond and out of the yard.

She was tired of being wall-art. I find this interesting, since for a character postition which was mostly incidental Uhura had a lot of lines. Her character also tended to be used as the catalyst to bring out character traits in most of the others.

That reminds me! I've just been through a week's worth of vegetarian foods: I brought bacon into the house to save me from that, and forgot about it ... STUPID!
