Ooh beware Janeway. The bosses take not kindly to those who would dare flaunt other websites in their posts. Beware, or smite thee they will!

But Colbert does so rock.

I was thinking Alderaanian Ale, or perhaps Corellian Whiskey. As for the sauce, North Carolina, Memphis, or Kansas City-style?

KC.. I like my meat a little sweet.

Then, if you ever get down to Gulf Coast Mississippi, you'd love The Shed, just off I-10 (Exit 57, a few hundred yards north, on the left), in Ocean Springs. Outstanding BBQ. A bit pricey, but you get a lot of food for what you pay for.

Memphis. Although the BBQ in Kansas City is great.

No kidding. They even have Spam Sushi in Hawaii. I've seen it and it's disgusting.

(and now for the reason I posted)

Why do we get excited when a movie we like is on cable even if we already own the DVD and can watch it any time?

"Why do we get excited when a movie we like is on cable even if we already own the DVD and can watch it any time?".

Answer is simple...A definite lack of a real life many of us have succumbed to.

I've never had cable, so I'm not privy to those emotions. All I get is what the major networks syndicate. Which is usually Robocop 2 on the My Network station here in Minnesota at least once a month.

But at least they run SG-1 and Atlantis late nights on Saturday.

Real life? What is this real life that you talk of?

<- Lack of Real Life for 17 years, and going.

The real life is overrated. That's why games like the Sims and Second Life do so well.

I'm married to a hot doctor and I party all day and night in hollywood.

So what if I'm a sim. Sim's have feelings too.

Thank God...there's people here now. The last two times I logged in it was just me and twenty-two guests and it was starting to creep me out.

This one time at band camp, a kid passed out on the basketball courts. The lesson of the day was: "Don't lock your knees. Ever."

That was the same year I got a reverse raccoon tan line from wearing sunglasses withouth sunscreen in 105 degree heat, facing the sun for three hours at a time. THAT was fun...

Some in the sixties tried the facing the sun thing..while on a certain known drug.

The same people stated later post RX of the corneas, Decided while initially the

experience was mind blowing...the end results really tubed.

Let this be a lesson.."Just say no to drugs", And keep an eye out for lobsters on the beach.

I learned that lesson in HS, during hours of ROTC standing for Drill and Color Guard. Watched three people fall over from locking knees. Hilarious!

I'll be the round about

The words will make you out 'n' out

You change the day your way

Call it morning driving thru the sound and in and out the valley

The music dance and sing

They make the children really ring

I spend the day your way

Call it morning driving thru the sound and in and out the valley

In and around the lake

Mountains come out of the sky and they stand there

One mile over we'll be there and we'll see you

Ten true summers we'll be there and laughing too

Twenty four before my love you'll see I'll be there with you

I will remember you

Your silhouette will charge the view

Of distance atmosphere

Call it morning driving thru the sound and even in the valley

In and around the lake

Mountains come out of the sky and they stand there

One mile over we'll be there and we'll see you

Ten true summers we'll be there and laughing too

Twenty four before my love you'll see I'll be there with you

Along the drifting cloud the eagle searching down on the land

Catching the swirling wind the sailor sees the rim of the land

The eagles dancing wings create as weather spins out of hand

Go closer hold the land feel partly no more than grains of sand

We stand to lose all time a thousand answers by in our hand

Next to your deeper fears we stand

Surrounded by a millions years

I'll be the round about

The words will make you out 'n' out

I'll be the round about

The words will make you out 'n' out

In and around the lake

Mountains come out of the sky and they stand there
