Hey, who murdered a couch! And who are those people?

(The Gorn loved the eyeballs... He was like, "Oh Wow!.... Thanks!!" and immediately started playing with them. What a gig, lol).

ummmmmmmm they are in two diffrent windows so we arent on the ST.com hompage

Actually, we ARE on Startrek.com -- that's why it was up in the second window. If you look to the side there, you'll see that's the Community page on ST.com, where the links to STSF are. :)

Oh, and a general request -- can we not quote the pictures, please? They're great, but scrolling past them 6 or 7 times gets to be a pain.

w00t!!

I just got back home a few hours ago. The Vegas vacation was wonderful, I had fun, and it totally rocked to put some faces with the on-line names. The convention was fun as well, and Dominic Keating is a cute English spitfire with a cute rear end. ::Purrs::

I am however, going to go to sleep now. :-P

Woah, hold on there. If a guy said Linda Park or Jolene Blalock had a nice rear end or Jeri Ryan had a nice chest you know exactly what would happen. But a girl saying the same thing about a guy is OK? Isn't that a whopper of a double standard?

I'm not saying it is bad for women to point out men's body parts. If the situation were reversed, however, it would be considered harrassment.

As long as things are not taken to a crass or over-the-line level, I see nothing wrong with either. Even *I* appreciate Ryan's Barbie-body. I'm just sad I missed Keating's butt. ;)

And a good English butt that was. :) He did go by the table at one point and said hello, even though he didn't stop or otherwise provide an opportunity for us to give him a free, glow-in-the-dark eyeball.

A couple of my favorite memories from Shoreleave West...

-- Bouncy balls! It was really funny seeing the head of the convention walk by the table... pass us taking a quick glance over and then stopping by the table where we had the bowl giving them away, then say "So THATS where those things are coming from. I've been seeing them everywhere!"

-- Tattoos! I did not get any pictures of the new tattoos the Admiral brought, however some of us took the cheap route. <3 Huff

-- Brent Spiner! No, he did not quite stop by our table, but he WAS right next to ours. He's always been one of my favorite actors.

As I only had my RAZR with me, I did not get many pictures. However some of the experiences were too good not to mention...

-- Dinner at Dave's Last Resort. Bubbles and Blow Bubbles. Priceless.

-- Real STSF! Thanks KBear for the REAL superior turf from STSF.com.

-- Wandering the strip with Dac and Mackey. Yes... A9, Sketti, and N'Dak were there... but this was about the women dangit! So many shoe stores... so little time.

(The Miracle Mile in Planet Hollywood had more there than I think most cities have.)

-- Gagh and warrior cookies with dinner. Seeing Fred go face first into the gagh will never let me look at a Klingon the same way again.

-- The cabana... it would not be a real Shoreleave without it.

-- Seeing the Captains all signing autographs. (As a Rear Admiral, I'm not important enough for autographs.)

-- The USS Wesley Crusher recognized! Will Wheaton signs a photo for STSF. (Speaking of which... someone needs to send me the scan of that pic!)

-- Visitor> "What class ship is it?"

Dac> "Uhhhh... that's a good question. I don't know that."

Visitor> "Arn't you the Captain?"

Dac> "Yes"

Actually, I believe the response was, "I dunno""

Let's remember that I'm Captain by attrition and no where in the fine print did it say that I had to learn any of this stuff. :)

Good job keeping up with me and Mackey. Six+ hours and more than six miles of walkng in either 103 temps or 60 degree temps (the casinos/hotels were stupid cold this year) was a feat ... and there were NOT that many shoe stores. It was the two Brighton stores that sucked our pocketbooks dry.
