Romulan Commander

any objections

I was wantdering if anyone objects to my character being Romulan. I justwant to make sure no-one will kill me for being Romulan, and want to be diffrent, not anyone from the federation of planets. If you can just post you opinion, no matter what it is. I wont get any warbirds to attack you if it is nagitive.

I (Personally. I can't speak for others, you'll have to ask the GM's.) don't object to Romulan characters in the Academy as long as they play accordingly. (I.E. a member of the crew, and not otherwise without permission.) As for advanced sims, you would have to speak to the simulations perspective GM's.

With that said, the character is one thing. Actions are another. Actions (such as Romulan invasions or attacks in a sim) are to be done by the GM's. If there is something specific you have in mind for a sim, suggest it to the GMs. Can't promise it'll be used, but same goes for the opposite. It could be used. But again I can't say definately.

No one can kill your character on a sim, with the only exception being an action. (Which in the Academy, when the next week comes, it's like resurrection because it's a new sim. Academy deaths are not permenant character deaths. Example: Wednesday Academy everyone died, but they'll be back next week. For a more specific answer on Advanced sims, ask an Advanced GM. They can give you a better perspective on how that works (and is) from where they stand on their sim. Usually actions on advanced sims do not kill player's characters. When it does happen, it's a rare occurance and usually has extenuating circumstances attached. Again if you're curious ask some of the advanced GM's for some better insight.) In general, other players cannot just go and "player kill" other people's characters on any sims. If there is a point that you're in doubt or don't know, just ask a GM.

Hope that answers your question. :)
