Welcome!

Yes, the schedule is a bit troublesome for European simmers right now, and that's unlikely to change any time soon. However, with that said, we do have some intrepid folks who manage it. The best advice I can give you is to figure out whether there is a time where you can manage it, and then give it a try.

Hopefully, you'll be able to work something out. Either way, I hope to see you around!

Oh, btw, someone else should come along with some more info on how to get started at STSF. I'd do it, but I'm pressed for time.

I'm in Germany, too so let's see...times for Academies are usually 4 am except on Tuesdays, Fridays and the first one on Sundays, those are at 3 am. The Red Star is at 5 am and the Academy at 6 am... have I forgotten one???

The advanced sim that's easiest to attend for us here in Europe is Aegis cos it's on Saturday mornings 4 am.

Welcome to STSF. Hope to see you around.

God. One day if I ever meet those damn standards I'll try to become a GM even if it just means servicing the Germans cos this is beginning to get ridiculous.

... servicing the Germans ...

 ;) :P

You make it sound like collaboration with the Germans is a perverted thing, lad.

Of course, you realize this may be the can of worms needed to open up Euro-STSF.

And then we could let it wander further into the future, and eventually add a Hong Kong or Tokyo-STSF.

Naah if it was I'd be perverted every day. I'm half-German :P

Schedule it during Oktoberfest, maybe? Mmmm...beer

London's pretty cool, I was there last year. A bit pricey though, given the exchange rate.
