Trav Lundi was a small time politician on the homeworld of Trill. While he had been in the arena for a number of years, he had never really made a name for himself. After meeting and marrying Marel Tenita, the two moved to Malita, a large coastal town on the homeworld where Trav quickly became involved in the local town council and soon became a liaison for the town to the rest of the planet. With Marel working as a professor of mathematics at the towns revered university, the young couple made a comfortable life for themselves and their three children, Kristen, Lexia, and Markus.

 

Upon entering school it was quickly obvious that Lexia had an immense talent for learning. She quickly surpassed the classes she was in, and began to enter all the advanced placement classes she could. Unfortunately, with this intense brilliance began to emerge a fiery and sometimes arrogant personality. She seemed to feel as if she could take on anything, and that she needed no one telling her what to do. This headstrong attitude led to many a situation including her father being called to her school multiple times in order to answer for his daughter’s actions.

 

As she neared her sixteenth birthday, the Symbiosis Commission began to take notice of the young woman rising quickly in her education. Though no one of note in her family had ever served as a host before, the committee assigned to review her case seemed to think she was worth looking at. They were wary, however, of her seeming superiority complex. Upon further review the commission determined that she was indeed a candidate for joining, in spite of her whirlwind attitude.

 

Upon gaining entry to Tarantia University, one of the most prestigious schools on Trill, at the age of seventeen, Lexia was officially contacted by the Symbiosis Commission and was informed she had been cleared to enter their program.

 

Lexia labored over the decision to put her own education on hold, but she knew how rare an honor it was to even be accepted into the Symbiosis training program. After Lexia had spent one year in the program, the current host of the Tordai symbiot sadly passed. After much review, it was decided that the paring of the fiery, now a bit more tamed, Lexia and the calm Tordai was a fine match.

 

After the joining, Lexia Tordai made the decision to go ahead with the original plan and entered Tarantia University. After attending four years at the school, she made the decision to pursue a career in medicine. She felt as if was her way to use her intelligence to assistant those around her. This enlightened view of her mental prowess is due in no small part to the entrance of Tordai on the young Trill’s life.

 

Lexia then made the decision to enter into Starfleet, follwing the example of one of her distant uncles. She believed that this would offer her the ability to explore the world around her, while pursuing her career in the medical field.

 

Her symbiots prior experience and her own intelligence allowed Lexia to graduate from Starfleet medical a bit more then a year early.

 

After graduating, with honors, she received her first post as an assistant medical officer aboard the USS Gideon. After that vessels destruction, and her subsequent evacuation to the USS Agincourt, she continues her service as an AMO on that vessel.

Midshipman Tordai still retains many of the fiery and arrogant personality traits of her un-joined life. Her joining, to the Symbiot Tordai has curbed many of the more extreme veins of these traits, turning her overall personality into a cool, calm confidence.

Of course, that confidence may be viewed by many as arrogance, and at times they are not completely incorrect.

I do not believe there are any overt psychological issues with Ms. Tordai; I believe her to be completely capable of serving aboard any of our vessels.

Midshipman Tordai’s life has been littered by various injuries throughout her life. Most of these injuries stem from her own stubbornness. The listing in this profile includes only the most serious of her injuries.

 

Broken right arm: Received from falling out of a tree in her front yard at the age of 12 STY.

Sprained right ankle: Received during a track meet while attending college at Tarantia. The injury stills causes her some pain in her ankle occasionally.

Dislocated left shoulder: Received during survival training at the Academy when a fellow student fell on her after she tripped on a downhill march.

 

Midshipman Tordai only retains one scar of any note. When she was young, she received mild second degree burns from partly falling into the fire while on a camping trip with her parents. She has minor scars along her upper left thigh, which are normally invisible under most clothing.

 

It should also be noted that Midshipman Tordai is left handed.
