Thanks! What time is that to GMT? <_< I'm hopeless with time zones!

Heya, I'm in England so I get your query. Silly yankees.

Okay...

ET = GMT - 5 hours

PT = GMT - 8 hours

So for example the 10 PM ET Excalibur sim on Sunday night starts at 3 AM GMT on Monday morning.

Hope that helps

Your homework assignments are due by the end of the week! You can turn it in to either Aaron or myself. B) J/K They're great resources, and you should check them out when you can. That little bit of reading can help you out a whole bunch, and make your life easier and the Academies you attend more fun.

Besides the Academies, where you can attend any time without having to make a commitment, you can also come into any of the Advanced sims and watch to get a feel for how they operate (quietly, no posting to the room during the sim!). That will also make your decision as to which Advanced Sim you wish to join easier for that happy time when you graduate. Also, you can drop into the Redstar Nightclub on Saturday nights at 10 PM ET (3 AM GMT). Here there is IC (In-Character) Chat set in a Quark's Bar type atmosphere.

Look forward to seeing you around!

Thanks, everyone! Great little welcoming package! I think I understand... <_< If I do anything wrong, just gimme a bell and I'll try and correct it. So, could I attend the Academy now, or do I have to wait until 3am?

You have to wait till 3am, or whenever the academy starts, in your timezone.

Great, thanks. Will it always start so late? It's gonna be hard for me to get on at those times...

Unfortunately yes. We don't really have any academies targeted towards International Users right now, but who knows.. maybe one day we will.

Yes its apparently because no-one from international timezones ever comes here asking...about the sims...

B)

Whoops! <_<

( A cheap shot, agreed.)

I'm afraid the best you can get (at present) is a 2 AM game, as we do run a few 9 PM ET Academies (Including tonight (Sun)). We do have a few intrepid individuals, such as Images, who somehow manage to keep their eyes open long enough from across the pond to make it. All you can do is your best when it comes to stopping by, but don't get yourself in trouble in real life in the effort, either. <_<

Still hope to see you around if you can make it.

Welcome to STSF! We are actually in the process of unofficialy debating whether or not to open a Internationaly timed academy. However the ruling (if it exists) is still being kept secret by our all-powerfull slave mas. umm.. Game masters.
