A Joint log by t'Ksa, tr'Psichore, and t'Aehjae

((This takes place right after the last sim. The setting is that tr'Psichore has just killed tr'Eksy and stepped out of t'Rexan's medical room to meet the confused Chiefs of Medical and Security.))

((Also.. I edited this, but t'A and t'K didn't have a chance to look at it before posting.. so for the record consider this subject to their editing if necessary. Sorry I didn't feel like going through and changing everything from present tense to past tense. Enjoy!))

tr'Psichore glances at t'Aehjae's hand on his arm and decides not to bother telling her to let go. He waits calmly, knowing everyone will want to check on Aife and t'Rexan before asking him what the heck is going on.

"Ksa Come check him out I do na trust he is telling the truth" says t'Aehjae, not letting go of his arm. "I do na beleive this is tr'psichore."

Having pushed past the chaos in the main medical waiting area, t'Ksa was checking on t'Rexan first. "tr'Paine, t'Parker, get Aife out of here. Daise'Dheno, I will be with au io moment."

"How is tRexan. Is she alive?" t'Aehjae asks.

tr'Psichore narrows his eyes slightly and opens his mouth to protest.. but realizes that it is a prudent precaution given that he is still supposed to be in stasis. He looks at t'Aehjae. "I assure you, I am none other. See for yourself, if you wish."

t'Aehjae says to the XO "I am going to do just that."

"However, with a ranged weapon in hand, staying in close proximity to a possible hostile isn't a very tactically sound posture" tr'Psichore continued. "You should have me stand away from the situation; far enough away that you can kill me before I reach you" he says, and twists her arm and breaks her grip for emphasis.

t'Ksa returns a few moments later after, reassured that t'Rexan is alseep and na harmed. "Would some io care to explain why I have a y'ya'd maenak, an unconscious Head Nurse and Khre'Riov and a..." she pauses and looks Psichore up and down, continuing "Daise'Erie'Riov who's returned from the 'dead'?"

tr'Psichore turns to tKsa. "I never actually died. If you recall you got me into stasis before I lost all brain function."

"Ie, I suppose Galae Medical finally found a way to revive io of our Senior Officers" t'Ksa responds. "I've been sending them enough to pratice on, au would have think they would have eventually gotten it right."

t'Aehjae reaches and grabs for Pschore once more, then raises her disrutpr to him. "AU will NA move. Except to move to that biobed NOW MOVE."

tr'Psichore smiles wryly at tKsa's comment, and continues his explanation to t'Ksa as he walks over to the bio bed. "My stasis unit was unceremoniously transfered to Romulus shortly thereafter. Due to my past some undisclosed members of the government decided special measures were prudent to revive me. Some experts were called in, I don't know the details. I trust the Khre Riov is well?" he asks, hoping to sooth t'Aehjae's suspicions.

t'Ksa picks up a tricorder, glancing at the distruptor t'A's holding, then back to tr'Psichore. "She is unconscious, but well." She then starts to scan tr'Psichore.

"I believe she was only sedated" says tr'Psichore. "I have been keeping close tabs on tr'Eksy's movements."

"Why have au been doing that; in cohoots with him on this??" t'Aehjae demands, still not trusting him.

Looking over the scans as they compare to the ship's personnel and medical files, t'Ksa announces "he checks out," and shuts off the device.

tr'Psichore sighs slightly, and goes back to explaining. "The same people who made sure I was revived recieved information that our very own NDak was the target of an assassination plot."

t'Ksa glances from t'Aehjae to tr'Psichore, wanting to ask her own questions, but na sure with that disruptor if she should chime in.

tr'Psichore continues "The Galae still had its uses for NDak, and after t'Rexan's... punishment, they were also worried that these assassins would use their own threat regarding t'Rexan to get at NDak. So they revived me in secret and planted me on board the last time Talon was at a starbase."

t'Ksa decides and asks "Exactly how long have au been lurking around medical?"

t'Aahjae poses her own question "Ksa is there any way he can be lying? Something does na seem right about this."

tr'Psichore ignored t'Aehjae's suspicion, telling t'Ksa "I have been lurking around the entire ship since we left starbase. What was that.. a few weeks ago?"

"So au were attempting to stop an assassination attempt by my y'ya maenak?" t'Ksa asks.

tr'Psichore gives a slight nod and confirms "Correct. But they did not want me to move until I was certain who it was, and preferably get them red handed."

t'Ksa counters, asking "Why this io and na the other io? The verrul from the Oira. What was his name? The io who stabbed N'Dak in the foot before he y'ya." She scratches her head. "What were au doing? Taking a nap?"

tr'Psichore pauses, saying noncommitally "Suffice it to say that that was... under control."

"I'm sure Etre N'Dak feels the same way" t'Ksa says, smirking.

"I cannot tell you or N'Dak anything further" tr'Psichore says. "The only reason I am telling either of you these things is your necessity for further protecting t'Rexan."

t'Ksa now glances at t'Aejae, answering her "It's au's job to determine if he's lying or na. All I can tell au is that he is who he says he is."

t'Aehjae responds "I still do na trust him."

tr'Psichore looks at t'Aehjea, explaining "We'll be stepping up security on her room, of course."

"Guards have been on t'Rexan's room 24/7" she explains.

"I'm never going to be able to leave Medical ever again" t'Ksa laments with a heavily dejected sigh.

tr'Psichore rolls eyes, musing "I suppose I cannot expect you to believe me."

t'Aehjae agrees "Au are right. Au show up ou of the blue and expect me to beleive au?"

tr'Psichore goes on "Make your report on what happened, if you like, and wait for Galae to tell you that everything is fine. Or examine my orders to resume my post as executive officer of the Talon, if you like. It doesn't matter if you believe me."

t'Aehjae looks to Ksa. "Au are second in command Au tell me what aus wishes are," she requests. She still has disruptor trained on him but na close enough for him to get to her first.

tr'Psichore pulls a data chip out of his pocket and holding it out, stating matter of factly "Not any longer. As of the moment I came out of my under cover position, I had delayed orders to resume as second in command."

t'Ksa nods once, saying "I'm sure the Daise'Dheno will need to verify those orders, rekkhai, of course. But if all is in order, then may I be io of the first to wish you welcome?"

"Of course," tr'Psichore says, and tosses the chip to t'Aehjae, who catches the chip and looks to him before inserting it in a console. She reads carefully before announcing "It seems to be in order."

t'Ksa tilts her head, musing "She sounds disappointed."

tr'Psichore comes as close as he ever does to laughing, and cracks a wry smile.

t'Aehjae lowers her disruptor from tr'Pscihore. "My aplogies, Rehkkai" she says, still na trusting him in the back of her mind but deciding to let it go for now.

tr'Psichore responds simply "Unnecessary, el'Riov."

That settled, t'Ksa now asks "Can any io explain how the verrul got into the Khre'Riov's room? Only my Head Nurse and I had the security code, as t'Rexan requested."

"We will have to ask the head nurse when she awakens," t'Aehjae responds.

"Speaking of which," tr'Psichore says, "we shall repair the existing datapad, but in addition I'll be installing an automatic failsafe that will stun anyone who enters t'Rexan's room who is not the four of us." He indicated Aife on a biobed across the room. "You see.. tr'Eksy was not just your random medical academy graduate. tr'Eksy was placed here specifically by unknown spies high up in the Galae. In addition to high scores in the medical field, tr'Eksy had been secretly trained in many things, computer systems included. This code pad was probably a challenge but well within his skills.

"Brilliant," t'Ksa said with a sigh. "Are there more aboard this ship? I take it we are na out of danger as of yet?"

"I'm fairly sure there are no more assassins on board," tr'Psichore responds. "However... precautions would not be out of order."

t'Aehjae listens, though in the back of her mind is watching him closely, still NA trusting what he is saying.

"I'm really na leaving medical again," t'Ksa smirks. "And who got into my pastries? I recognized that tray in the Khre'Riov's room." t'Ksa narrows her eyes.

t'Psichore looks at her with a straight face, and says in a flat tone "Your head nurse takes care of her Khre Riov."

t'Ksa closes her eyes for a moment in an attempt to keep her temper in check, saying "Well, at least I know my office was na violated by the y'ya worm. What other security measures are au recommending?"

"I'm thinking 2 guards," tr'Psichore says thoughtfully. "One by the door and the other nearby but not right next to the door. At least 2 guards.. more if you object to your medical personel carrying weapons."

"Na objection here" t'Ksa agrees. "Perhaps a show of force will deter further attempts."

"The med staff and the guards will all keep an eye on each other, as well" tr'Psichore continues. "Random shift combinations."

"Ie Rekkhai" t'Aehjae responds, beginning to feel a bit more comforatble with him. "I will begin scheduling the needed to fill au quota."

"We can do the same with the medical shifts" t'Ksa said. "It will na please the nursing staff, but they will get over it."

tr'Psichore nodded, adding "I want at least a guard on NDak as well, for the time being."

t'Ksa glances from t'Aehjae to Psichore, saying "Na sure how the Daise'Erei'Riov will react to that."

"It will be done, Rehkkai" t'Aehjae responded. "He will na Like it but he will live."

"I see au are adopting my attitude" t'Ksa said, teasing t'Aehjae. "Menkha."

tr'Psichore nods, saying "I'm sure he will have something to say. And technically, in this instance, I have no say over it, but t'Aehjae does. So I will leave his guard in your hands, el'Riov.

"I will take care of it myself," she assured them.

"Is there anything else that I need to be aware of about this situation that would effect my care of the Khre'Riov?" t'Ksa asked.

tr'Psichore responds "No. As I said.. I believe the situation is resolved, for the moment."

"Very menkha." t'Ksa nods formally: "Is there anything else au re need from me?" she asked, glancing from t'Aehjae to tr'Psichore.

"No," he assured her. "And unless there is something either of you need, I am obligated to report to the enarrain."

"I shall escort au to the oira," t'Aehjae said.

"I do na envy au" t'Ksa said, nodding that she did not need anything further of him. "Either of au."

"I will have guards posted as au suggested," t'Aehjae explained, calling in 3 guards to take posts while t'Ksa backs away towards the Khre'Riov's room to check on her, trying to stay away from that potential tongue lashing.

tr'Psichore turns and strides from the room, heading towards the Oira, and t'Aehjae follows, meeting the guards at the door and instructing them where to go and be on heavy alert before proceeding to walk with the XO.

As they leave t'Ksa mutters to herself "I'm na sure if things just got better.....or worse."

t'Aehjae turns to Psichore as they enter the turbolift. "Now to deal with N'Dak."
