Thoros

"The Investigation Ends"

Thoros stormed out of the brig angrily, with Swan right behind him. It seemed he had been doing a lot of that lately. Swan beats the Orion, Thoros tries to stop Swan. Superior officer comes in, gets angry, and doesn't want to hear at all what happened, just yell. He was beginning to see a pattern there, and it was getting tiring. Thankfully Swan left security altogether, or Thoros would have an even harder time. He was getting to where he couldn't even stand the sight of her. That cocky, idiotic, I'm-not-from-Starfleet-so-I'll-do-whatever attitude was wearing him thin.

A few minutes earlier it was finally time for Trenton's interrogation, and Thoros had really wanted to sit in on it. He had a suspicion that he wouldn't have to intervene as much, because from the looks of things, Swan thought the Orion was guilty and Trenton innocent. Which Thoros didn't like one bit. While most of the evidence pointed to the Orion, his gut told him Trenton was guilty. But he hadn't really done much to investigate Trenton yet. And he didn't get much of a chance. When Swan came back with Trenton, Thoros was annoyed that he wasn't in there near as long as Chendral was. Then there was the incedent with the prisoners accusing Swan, Swan going after the Orion, and then the Captain entering the brig.

His orders were clear. Stay out of the brig. Which was fine with him. Finally the Captain left security too, and Thoros was left to himself. He began stalking the room, his anger growing by the minute. Not being able to take it any longer, he slammed his hand on a nearby console. Pain shot through his hand, but Thoros didn't care. He sat down and began to think. Thoros started shaking his head angrily. He was sick of thinking about this investigation. Standing up, he headed for the door. He was going for a walk, regardless of his orders, and he was going to forget about everything for a while. It didn't matter if the ship was under red alert.

Thoros walked out of security when he heard a noise behind him. At first he thought it was one of the prisoners, but it sounded like something hit the deck. Which was odd, there shouldn't have been anyone else in security. Now he was really irritated. If anyone else was in security, they'ed be luck if Thoros didn't bite their head off. After asking who was there, he began looking in the direction of the noise. Suddenly he felt someone hit him from behind. As the he watched the deck rush up to him, the last thing Thoros felt was regrets...
