"Underestimate"

Computer, Begi...

::Realizing that there isn't a computer to record his log, sits quietly, pondering the predicament that he and his other officers are in::

(The following was thought in Marius's mind, to be hopefully stored in a computer at a later time.)

What an interesting turn of events. The "harmless little gadget" became a great computer spy, sending out information of our ship's doings for the entire Scorpiad race to know. Then, the "dangerous Scorpiad spying device" turned into a great machine with restraining tentacles, with the ability to morph into a Scorpiad fighter, and fly, pilotless, away from the ship into the wonderful great unknown, with captives to boot. How much more are we going to understimate Scorpiad technology before we realize what we're up against? What other tricks do they have up their sleeve?

I suppose there's nothing I can do about it now at the moment. I can't even reach the tricorder at my side, much less override the ship into turning a 180 and go back to where we came from. My hopes lie in the fortunate officers who *didn't* get swallowed by the miniature whale. Hopefully, they're working on something to help bring us back. Perhaps they could even find a way to neutralize Scorpiad ships while they're at it. Not destroy though. That wouldn't be very helpful to me or the rest of the captured men... In the mean time, I'll do what I can do: observe the Scorpiad fighter. Maybe I'll be able to pull together some sort of understanding of the little amount of Scorpiad technology in this craft...
