First Reaction

What was that? Ensign Ramson stood at the computer console outside of the science lab. She looked at the scans of the room beyond the blast doors, which now finally were working again. Whatever it was it now wasn't here. The gaping hole in the side of the ship was proof of that. She looked again at the scans.

"Sir, forcefields are holding and the lab is repressurized. We have lifesigns still in there." Atleast somesort of lifesign, one she wasn't familiar with. One inwhich her empathic senses could tell was hurt.

Waiting further orders Kallah began to compile all the sensor readings together. That thing's dampening field left most of the records a wash of static. But, even the static itself might give clues. She gathered data from the edges of the effected areas, maybe they could figure it's frequency and power by these. She added the residual energy patterns left in it's wake. Again, perhaps some clue to it's operation could come from this. Dissipating radiation patterns from the blasted bulkheads, subspace field stresses to the local area and matter, EPS energy fluctuations in the local grid, audio records, visual, olfactory, anything and everything she could think off she recorded and saved before they faded into nothingness.... just as the thing and it's captives had.

They wanted more information about the Scorpiod, they had best start gathering it now.
