History:

Thoros was born on Andoria, but spent much of his life on Earth. One of his fathers was an Andorian diplomat to Earth, and Thoros traveled with him on many occasions. Although he found the heat on Earth to be unbearable at first, Thoros got used to it, and soon found that he enjoyed his trips to Earth.

 

It was there that Thoros began to learn more about the Federation and Starfleet. He studied as much as he could, and decided he would entere Starfleet Academy. His friends on Andoria weren't thrilled with the idea, but his parents (all four of them) supported him. There were many Andorians in Starfleet, and he expected to graduate and become a security officer.

 

Life in the academy was exciting for Thoros, but it wasn't easy. Being an Andorian, he had difficulty suppressing his emotions, and on a few occasions almost yelled at an instructor. He quickly learned how to use both types of phasers (the stun setting was something new to him), and he became skilled in hand-to-hand combat, in addition to some forms of martial arts. After graduating he was posted on the USS Arcadia.

 

Personality Profile:

Thoros is highly emotional and passionate, like most of his species. He still has difficulty suppressing emotions, especially his anger. He hates dishonesty completely, and dislikes people who will lie. Thoros is also extremely loyal. If someone in Starfleet gets hurt, he'll take it personal. He's very easy going, and most people don't find it hard to get along with him.

 

Medical Profile:

Thoros is in good health for an Andorian. He's susceptible to the heat, and can't stand high temperatures for more than a day or two. His senses are slightly better than most humans because of his antennae. Burn marks are on his forearms from when he met up with a group of ice bores. The burns healed, but he refused to have the scars treated. Although the scars are faded, they are still noticeable.
