The Messenger Guild has been rumored to deliver execution ‘messages’ and execute the receiver. Younger siblings – The Merchant Houses of the empire do not easily release information of non-prominent family members.

Troll is a Marine, who has gained the skills of a field doctor. Not being the Heir to a Merchant House, Troll must make his own name for himself within the Empire, or be forever barred from holding position in his house and continuing his line. Troll’s Father bought him a position in the empire Marines as a parting gift to a lesser son. Troll bought and/or blackmailed an invitation to OCS; canceling many debts, leaving him to succeed or die on his own merits. Recently Troll had an altercation with his superior; Lt Michaelson, who didn’t survive the encounter. Troll, who previously was a 2nd Lt, is now a 1st Lt in the marine battalion.
