Travis Kroells

The homecoming (Chain of command)

The homecoming (Chain of command)…Kroells’s logs

Travis stood in the middle of the bridge furious.  While he had in his room changing in to some clean clothes the door had jammed on him.  Needless to say it took him a good forty minutes to open the thing causing him to be extremely late for his duty shift.  Needless to say he was in a bad mood that only spiraled down from the point the walked on the bridge.  He tried to look as inconspicuous as possible seeing as how he, the acting CSCI was forty minutes late for his shift would look to Fred and Ridire.  He headed over to Spencer and Garnoopy who were currently going over specs of the Cairo’s cargo supply seeing what supplies could have caused this.  Travis knew he was in charge of this operation and he intended to work this case as he saw fit.  He briskly walked over to Garnoopy and Spencer informing them that they would proceed to investigate Lt. Aerso, the only known engineer to survive the now dubbed Cairo incident.  Travis had met him with Lt’s Garnoopy and McLean on the ship while conducting their mission onboard.  He waited for the two to pick up their stuff and head with him to sick bay where Aerso was believed to be.  He waited for several seconds watching Garnoopy sit and do nothing.  He waited and watched.  Garnoopy simply stood there acting as if the order meant nothing.  Several seconds more…nothing and then he simply continued on acting as if Travis held no authority at all!  Infuriated he rid himself of Garnoopy and Spencer and headed down to sickbay alone.

Travis stood in the turbo lift in a fit of rage.  Garnoopy had no reason to not only disobey him like that but at the same time disrespect him!  Travis watched the doors of the turbo lift open leading down the hallway towards sickbay.  He entered quickly and most likely with a bad look on his face.  Several crew members, some of the Reaent’s and some of the Cairo’s shot quick looks at him but then quickly turned away.  The stress and anger must have been showing.  At that point in time he didn’t really care.  He scanned the room checking for Aerso while noting the female laying on the biobed.  He finally gave up and checked with the computer for his exact location.  All the hunk of junk could give him was that he was in sickbay…real help there.  Travis made another passing glance through out sickbay finally finding Aerso in Debbie’s office.  He approached the office only to be stopped short by Debbie.  After a small discussion with Debbie he gained access to the office.  He was about to begin his interrogation right when Spencer and Garnoopy entered the room.  He was about to tell Garnoopy off when he realized that it would be easier if he was there.  He quietly looked out into the hell hole of a sickbay. He lost track of what day it was.  He knew his birthday was coming up but he didn’t know if his birthday was yesterday, today, or tomorrow but it didn’t really matter.  He looked around prioritizing the situation he would get the interview done and deal with Garnoopy as necessary.  Then he’d head to the holodeck and find some program to make him forget this hell of a mission.  He quickly turned to Aerso eager to start the interrogation.  He walked slowly towards him trying to clear his mind.  But all he could hear in the back of his mind was, “Happy birthday Travis.  Be happy because it’s the best one you’ve gotten in a while.”  He smirked knowing he was right.  As he stood mere feet from Aerso he muttered something even though he knew he would hear him, “Happy birthday to me…”
