I have just finished my work on designing Xavier's new weapon. I returned to my quarters, and opened my communications panel. I called home, but got no response other than the error message of the computer. I tried again, then remembered our situation. We were isolated, unable to contact the Alpha Quadrant. I shut the panel again, and dropped onto my bed, staring up into the ceiling. I missed home, no doubt about that. I wanted to be able to see my parents again. After all, I hadn't contacted them since I left the Alpha Quadrant to join the Excalibur.

 

Why did the Scorpiads do this? They've caused so much pain, mentally as much as physically. Could they really be pure evil? What are their plans? So many questions... questions that would probably have to be left unanswered. In the mean time, all I can really do is just persevere. If only there were more ways I could help...
