Guest LT Fitzgerald Brighton

MY Bio by Fitzgerald Brighton

This Bio was on the Yahoo groups site sorry I forgot to post it here.

Fitzgerald Brighton was born on the southern shores of Georgia.

he grew up there with his parents and two older Brothers. The oldest

brother in the family was gregory . He is five years older than Fitz

he never got along with Fitz very well the other Brother is named

Logan. He is two years older than Fitz they get along like the best

of friends.

Fitzgeralds parents are unlike Fitz in the fact that they never

liked the thought of leaving Earth to live on a Lunar colony .His

mother is Rachelle she is a designer of living spaces for the rich

and famous and his father is the head of engineering in one of the

top robot industries on Earth.

Long ago a law was passed that no robot was allowed to work on

Earth therby taking the place of a human being in any industry.

Now Getting back to Fitzgerald . When Fitz was ten years old he

began showing his interest in space travel and actually living in

space if possable. He studied the plans his father brought home to

work on and it seemed like in no time flat he was helping his father

design and improve on Space fleets designs for sertian engines .

Space Fleet turned down several of thier plans saying it was too

dangerous to try to make an engine that would propell a space craft

at warp 9.999 because at that speed it would be highly possable to

break the space time fabric therfore the ship and all its occupants

would be everywhere at the same time and that there would be no way

of controlling where they would be when they dropped out of that type

of warp or what it might do to the space time continum line.

Against the Space Fleets orders Fitz continued to work on such a

possability thinking that maybe in the future that problem might be

worked out.

He still watched as his father helped design and build new engines

and before he turned fourteen he knew the entire workings of the

engines on most of the SpaceFleets armada.

When Fitz turned sixteen he took the enterance exam to SpaceFleet and

passed With a score of 99.8 in engineering ,96.5 in security ,and

74.3 in Medical because authough he passed all the tests with high

marks he could not participate in any of the disections there because

he hated the sight of blood so much .So when he passed the academy it

was with an average of 90.2 . He studied each and every subject and

tried to do his best.

right after graduating the academy Fitz was assigned to help his

father design engines for SpaceFleet a year later he was assigned to

a post on Lunar colony 6 after requesting a transfer to a space

environment. He studied there for two years perfecting his knowledge

of engines and how they worked and was then assigned to the ship

yards on Mars to help with the construction of the Shoshone. It was

supposed to be the biggest starship ever attempted to be built it was

so big in fact that to complete its construction a special hanger had

to be built seven thousand Kilometers further up into orbit to keep

the gravitational forces of Mars from dragging it down during its

build this project took two full years to complete with twenty crews

working around the clock after completion it had one hundred decks

and was over ten miles in length. It was said that she would never

leave the hanger but Fitz and a crew of fifty along with the captain

Humphry Johnathan Trueman sailed it out into space for the first time

on Fitz's 22nd Birthday and went to warp 9.997. before docking her

back ten days later. Fitz was given an honorable medal of achievement

for constructing the engines and a place in the history books with

the rest of the drew as having been traveling at the highest warp

speed ever achived by humans.

after this project was finished Fitz asked to be transfered to a

starship as an engineer even after being told that if he did so he

would have to join as an ensign again . He accepted his fate and

asked to be assigned aboard the strongest ship in the Fleet the

Arcadia. End Bio
